Daryl.. Sweet Vibes.. What can I say..

Out of all the suppliers we had at our wedding, who were all INCREDIBLE, this has got to be one of the hardest reviews I have had to write because I just do not have the words to describe just how AMAZING Daryl is!!! But I will try..

From the very first phone call I had with Daryl, I was explaining to him what it was that we wanted for our big day, bearing in mind, this would have been 2 years before the date. We ended up being on the phone for around 45 minutes just talking about music and what we loved and the image that we had for our day. When I tell you I came off the phone that day absolutely buzzing, it was another level. I knew from that moment, that we had done the right thing in securing him. We wanted the entire day to just be a massive party, from start to finish. We decided to book Daryl for the ENTIRE day. What DJ do you know that will be there from the minute guests start to arrive, to the last person to probably leave the venue, and be on a constant high (because if that’s what you are looking for, look no further).

We got married on the 5th of September 2025 at The Old Kent Barn and Daryl had never worked there before, so this was all very new to him as well (not that you would ever have known!). The venue had also never had a wedding where the DJ had been there for the day, the venue normally provide/play all the ceremony and drinks reception music for the couple, which is amazing, but we wanted to bring that next level! Our guests are still talking about it now. It was giving.. Ibiza beach party comes to Folkestone. I generally don’t think I saw anyone sitting down.

The process could not have been easier, I had to complete an online form before our wedding with all of our ceremony music, the types of music we wanted for the drinks reception and wedding breakfast, I could add a list of songs on there that we wanted to be played to songs that we didn’t want to be played, which was all easy to do and then just before the wedding we had a phone call with Daryl (that lasted over an hour) just discussing the day and how we wanted it to go. Again, another phone call we both left on cloud 9 absolutely buzzing for the big day!

My biggest nightmare for our wedding was that the dancefloor was going to be dead, everyone would just be gathered in the bar and that people would leave early because they were bored. We have been to weddings before where the DJ just doesn’t read the crowd, they just flick from one song to the next, there is no real flow, one song will be good, and everyone gets up to start dancing and the next is awful and you have to sit back down again. I explained this to Daryl and he assured me, that would not be the case, and having spoken to him leading up to the wedding, I knew he was right!

All I can say is that our guests were searching for their flipflops during the drinks reception! The dancefloor was absolutely PACKED all night, and the photos prove that! You can see that he is just absolutely living his best life and that absolutely spreads onto the dancefloor. If you are not booking Daryl for your wedding, then I am sorry but it just will not be as good! When I say he made my wedding dreams come true.. This man is an absolute genius. Vibes, vibes and more vibes ALL day!!

I could carry on talking about just how insane he is, but I will run out of characters!!!

Please, if you do anything today as a bride or groom to be, PLEASE book this man for your special day, it’ll be the best thing you ever do!!!
