The story behind the awards
THE COUPLES CAME FIRST. THE AWARDS FOLLOWED.
I started DJing at just 13 years old. Back then, I wasn't thinking about wedding awards, trophies or national recognition. I just loved music and the feeling of watching a room come alive.

That hasn't changed. What started as a passion for DJing has grown into Sweet Vibe Events, an Essex-based wedding DJ business built around live mixing, personality, reading the crowd and creating the kind of wedding party people talk about long after the night is over.
​
Over the years, we've been recognised by both The Wedding Industry Awards and the Essex Wedding Awards, culminating in a national win in 2026.
​
I'm incredibly proud of those achievements. But the biggest reward will always be watching a couple surrounded by their favourite people, completely lost in the moment.

OFFICIALLY NAMED BEST WEDDING DJ IN THE UK
In 2026, Sweet Vibe Events was named National Wedding DJ of the Year at The Wedding Industry Awards (TWIA).

Having already won the East of England regional award, going on to receive national recognition was a huge milestone for the business.
​
For me, the award represents years of hard work, learning, improving and giving absolutely everything to the couples who trust us with their weddings.
